Apryl failed to impress one of the judges, so she was not selected. She was introduced to a famous artist, and she went on tour with him to serve as an assistant singer. They became friends and were able to appear on the Vh1 popular TV show Hollywood and became one of the original eight members of the cast. In the initial season, Megaa and her husband had a baby boy. The second season examines Megaa's frustrations and insecurities regarding her career when she discovers new joys. Omarion's tour prevented his attendance at the recording for the reunion of season two. Apryl announced on the 7th of December, 2015. that Omarion and Apryl were off the show. On March 7 2016 Apryl was born to their daughter A'mei Kazuko Grandberry. Apryl, Omarion and their daughter, A'mei Kazuko Grandberry, revealed that they broke in a matter of four months. Apryl made a guest-appearance in season four, meeting Lil' Fizz to discuss a potential B2K reunion. Apryl returned to the show for season six which focused on her custody battle with Omarion along with the speculation in the press and scrutiny about her relationship with Lil' Fizz. Both confessed to being romantically involved during the course of the show, putting her at odds with Moniece as well as other members of the cast.
