Pickler lived in a difficult family. Her mother left her when she was just two to escape from the abuse of her partner. Then, in 1995, she re-entered back to the world of Pickler, and took the custody rights. It did not work out as planned. At the age of 12, the judge returned Pickler to her parents - whom she grew up with. Pickler did not have the capacity to raise her kids in the absence of their parents. The mother of three confessed to her that in the absence of both parents Pickler had no time to go to school. She instead began in the process of learning to care for her family earlier in time.
